Spring Festival of LXs draws crowd to El Toro, CA

Over 1,000 late-model Mopars join together under the sun for the yearly car show

Late-model Mopars invaded El Toro this past Saturday, as the SoCalLx's annual "Spring Festival of LXs" took place on the landing strip of the Orange County Great Park.

A variety of custom and stock Dodge Challengers, Chargers, Magnum, Chrysler 300s, and Jeeps were in attendance. The cars range from cosmetic upgrades to serious motor improvements. There were quite a few turbo and supercharged systems on display.

The biggest sponsor looked to by Dodge, bringing an enormous tent and its line-up of production vehicles. Food was provided for those in attendance, along with raffles and awards for different competitions. The event was a private, invite-only car show for those who are members of "Southern California's First Modern Mopar Club." The show began early on Saturday and ran into the mid-afternoon. The weather was beautiful as no clouds were seen all day.
