Phoenix Car Junkyard 1961 Ford Galaxie
We shook our heads in disbelief at the sight of this stripped '61 FordGalaxie Sunliner convertible because it lacked obvious damage and musthave been a very solid car when it arrived. According to lovefords.org,it is one of 44,614 built. Thus far the 9-inch rear axle and front cliphave been salvaged, but those arrow-straight quarter-panels looktempting.

Phoenix Car Junkyard 1959 Chevy Biscayne Sedan Delivery
This '59 Chevy Biscayne sedan delivery represents the next-to-last yearof fullsize Chevrolet sedan delivery production. We couldn't dig up any'59 production numbers, but it's known that the '60 sedan deliveryproduction amounted to a mere 3,034 units, ending window-less wagonproduction until the arrival of the Vega Kammback in 1971. We'd turnthis one into a Special Super Turbo-Thrust (350 hp) 348-powered JuniorStocker tribute or a Ram Jet 283 Rochester fuelie phantom, bothfour-speed-equipped of course.
