A Brief History of the Car Craft Summer Nationals
Besides the cruising that took place at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, there was plenty of after-hours street machine activity on the streets of St. Paul. One hot spot was Porkys drive-in on University Avenue, just south of the fairgrounds. Hundreds of cars showed up, and a few even wheeled up to the drive-up window to purchase food.
