A bent paper clip or vintage Kentmore A-B key inserted into the A and B connections on the ALDL makes the SES flash stored trouble codes. Beware, the trouble codes may not reveal the root cause of the problem, only its side effects on the car's system of sensors. This is where parts changers and diagnostic thinkers are separated.
