Compare the cool Champion RC12YC projected street plug (left) to the icicle C57HCX NASCAR Winston Cup version (right). The HCX’s nose projects just 0.030 inch (instead of the usual 0.060). A large cross-section ground electrode cures breakage at the 400-mile mark on 15:1 engines. Hard to bend, it’s radically cut back to provide a 0.040-inch gap. View Related Article
