Budget EFI - Megasquirt
Before bolting the MegaSquirt on our test small-block, we decided to baseline the engine with a Barry Grant 750-cfm carb and an Edelbrock Victor Jr. single-plane intake. On the carburetor, the engine made a satisfactory 414 hp on the first pull along with 419 lb-ft of torque. Unfortunately, we ran out of time before we got the MegaSquirt to work on Westech's dyno.
