We connected a new 8-gauge charge wire directly from the output post on the back of the alternator to the battery’s positive post using a pigtailed battery cable (A). Another pigtail (B) runs from the post to the stock power-distribution post (C) on the firewall to provide power to the rest of the car’s wiring through the old charge wire. View Related Article
