The daylight visible through the floor of our 67 Chevy C10 is the result of moisture and dirt collecting under the truck’s rubber floor mat and simmering for a few decades. We began by marking the area we wanted to replace. The whole section ahead of the doorsill area was also rusted, but not all the way through. We simply ground the rust off with a 40-grit disc on an angle grinder and coated the area with All-Metal (aluminum-reinforced body filler).
