With its 90cc volume, the Chrysler cast-iron 452 head has the largest chamber of any ’68-up OE big-block Chrysler head. Ours were treated to mild bowl-blending work and flow 253 cfm at 0.600 lift (I) and 193 cfm at 0.650 lift (E). 440 Source also offers fully assembled aluminum Stealth heads for a mere $995 a pair. They’re reputed to flow 285/220 cfm (I/E) right out of the box, have 80cc chambers, and, at 29 pounds each, weigh about half what our 452s weigh.
