New Cams for the Cammer
What It Is: Lunati's new cams for Modular Fords
Why You Care: We're always excited to see new stuff for Modular Fords, and Lunati's new cams look especially promising. The company has developed several new grinds for two-, three-, and four-valve 4.6L and 5.4L engines. The durations available range from 220 to 240 degrees, and the camshafts are gun-drilled for light weight.
How Much: Two-valve cams cost $637.46. Four-valve cams are almost twice that. Three-valve cams are somewhere in the middle.
We Say: We're working on a couple of Mod motors. Maybe we'll be able to do a new product test on a few of these soon.

Not a Typo
What It Is: New spray guns from Summit Racing
Why You Care: We were so sure Summit had it wrong on its website, we checked with the company's media relations guy. Nope, $32.95 is really the selling price for these things. Unbelievable. Summit will be sending us one to check out, so hopefully we'll be able to give you a firsthand report soon. In the meantime, buy a couple of these and learn how to paint cars. It's fun.
How Much: Really-$32.95 is not a typo.

Small in Stature, Huge in Functionality
What It Is: RePlay XD, a tiny DVD-quality video camera
Why You Care: According to the company's literature, this is one of the smallest and lightest video cameras available. It weighs only 30 grams, you can mount it just about anywhere, and it won't weigh you down. The camera's aluminum frame is weather resistant and houses an omnidirectional microphone as well as a lithium-ion battery that is good for 120 minutes of recording, which coincidentally is the amount of time the standard micro-SD card can hold. A 32GB card is available as well. Check out the available mounting options. You can attach this camera to just about anything.
How Much: The camera costs $189.99. You have to purchase the mounts separately.
We Say: They say the camera is the same size as a tube of ChapStick. Hope it's not as easy to lose.

Three Hours for a Stronger Chassis
What It Is: BMR's '10 Camaro four-point strut tower brace
Why You Care: We're seeing a lot of these cars on the road. So, most of those owners are thinking of things they can do to make them better. The typical place to start is with bolt-ons, so we expect this to be a popular item for BMR. Made from 1.75x0.120-inch tubing, it ties to the front of the chassis near the radiator core support, forming a rigid box to keep chassis flex at bay.
How Much: Buy it for $269.95, and BMR will let you choose either a red or a hammertone black powdercoat finish.
We Say: Hammertone.
