How To Plumb A Fuel System
For the fuel line, we used -8 hose from the tank to the pump and onto the hard lines. We used a prefilter between the tank and the new Holley HP-125 pump and a post filter in the middle of the car where the two hard lines meet. We also replaced all the hard line in the car with new prebent pieces from Classic Tube. This assures us of good, clean fuel at the carb. We laid the preassembled fittings out on the table before cutting any hose. We also test-fit everything under the car to make sure we had the right fittings in the right places. We ended up swapping a straight fitting for a 90-degree to clear some brackets. View Related Article
