If you buy a complete engine and transmission, be sure to get the original harness and computer. We've seen complete used drivetrains selling between $2,500 and $3,500. An engine wiring kit from The Detail Zone is about $850 and will add everything you need to control the drive-by-wire throttle body and fuel system. It is possible to use a stock harness and make it work on a relay or control module board, but that is a job beyond the scope of this story. View Related Article
