We planned ahead by fitting the inner fenders before dropping them in place. Sliding the fenders in place required help from our friend Kris Shields. We also safety-taped the door and fender edges to prevent paint damage, which we somehow managed to avoid.

We repaired, blasted, and painted the radiator support satin black along with the headlight buckets days before, which made hanging everything less stressful. There are two long, horizontal and three vertical support pieces for the new OPG SS grille. We added to the aggravation by using cool stainless button-head machine screws and nuts rather than rivets.
