The GM flexplate is designed for the late-model 300mm (11.8 inches) converter bolt pattern, while older transmissions like the TH350 and TH400 use a slightly smaller 11.75-inch pattern. Minor die-grinder work to elongate the bolt holes will remedy the situation. As an alternative, TCI sells a Gen III/IV SFI flexplate and spacer package that will bolt up to the older converter pattern. View Related Article
