1971 Plymouth Duster Crate Engine - The Return Of The Six Pak
The 273/318-inch engines are sometimes grouped separately from 340/360 engines because they have slightly different motor mounts. The new 340 block has provisions for both mounts, so it can be used as a replacement for any '64 to '03 small-block-equipped production chassis. That means the 410 is for factory-equipped 318 cars, such as a Duster. Another cool aspect of the 410 block is there are crank trigger bosses for use with fuel injection, so you can swap this short-block under your factory induction system if you are driving a late-model truck or something similar. View Related Article
