Ford 390 Fe Parts
Survival Motorsports' basic stroker kits include a cast Scat crank, 6.700-inch I-beam rods, and Probe pistons, plus rings, bearings, and balancing. The deluxe kit upgrades to H-beam rods, Diamond pistons, and a better bearing package. The basic kit is suitable for most street applications, while the deluxe kit is just right for track use.

Ford 390 Fe Measure
Bryan Hansen at R&R Performance measured the diameter and runout of the 390 block's main bearing bores. A straight machinist's bar was laid into the main saddle, and feeler gauges were used to see if any of the main bearing bores were out of alignment. The bores proved straight, but a check of the roundness with the dial bore gauge showed they were slightly egg shaped, so the block was align-honed.
