High Performance Parts K Member Bar Forth Gen Camaros And Firebirds

Room For Turbos
What It Is: A tube-steel K-member for fourth-gen Camaros and Firebirds.
Why You Care: Yes, we've run releases for tubular K-members before, but this one adds a twist. Maybe "spin" would be a better term. BMR made this one with extra clearance for turbo- and supercharged applications. There is room to run up to a 5-inch downpipe along either side of the engine without interfering with the suspension mounting points. Also, you can choose from LS1 motor mounts, small- or big-block motor mounts, or no mounts at all for totally custom applications in case you want to build a tank engine or something.
How Much: $599.95
We Say: Make boost. Smoke tires.

High Performance Parts Weldcraft Flat Head Tig Torches

Chassis Builder's Dream
What It Is: Weldcraft's line of flex-head TIG torches.
Why You Care: If you've spent any time welding tubing or in confined spaces, you'll appreciate the versatility of the WP-26 line of TIG-welding torches from Weldcraft. Their flexible necks allow maneuvering in awkward angles and positions. These torches are rated at 200 amps at a 60 percent duty cycle, so they will stand up to some serious building, too.
We Say: Would look really nice on the end of our Miller TIG welder.

High Performance Parts Pipemaster Tubing Cutter

Chassis Builder's Dream, PT. II
What It Is: A tubing-cutter guide from PipeMaster.
Why You Care: It's rare that we can provide you with one-stop shopping in a single Speed Shop column, but that doesn't stop us from trying. After placing your order for the Weldcraft torch, get on the horn to PipeMaster and ask for one of its slick tube-cutting templates. The sliding pins conform to the proper shape of the joint you're trying to make. Trace the shape onto the tube and notch it out. Brilliant!
How Much: Prices depend on pipe diameter (in metric and standard sizes) but average about $100 each.
We Say: It's a lot easier to weld a tight-fitting joint.
