Mopar Rear End - Bolt-In S-60 Rearend

Mopar Rear End
Our Strange S-60 rearend fit up and into our '63 Belvedere perfectly. The chrome Dana-style cover really shows it off too.

The Strange S-60 S/T Street and Track axle (right) measures 1.50 inches in diameter, which is comparatively larger than the stock axle from the 831/44 rearend (left). The S/T axles incorporate large 3.150-inch axle bearings for added strength.

The leaf-spring perches on the S-60 locate precisely onto the stock positioning pins, making this a true bolt in.

The 35-splined Strange S-60 S/T axle (right) is made from SAE 1550 steel and is induction-hardened during manufacturing from a process that pulls the axle through an electric coil. This makes the axle incredibly rugged for almost all street and strip use.
Mopar Rear End
e outfitted our S-60 rearend with a full set of Raybestos products that included new wheel cylinders, PG brake shoes, 11-inch drums, a hardware kit, hydraulic hoses, and parking brake cables. All the brake parts fit perfectly and we chose them because of the great performance we've experienced with other Raybestos brake parts.
Mopar Rear End
We ordered our S-60 with Mopar-style ends to accept our 11-inch-drum-brake backing plates. The S/T Series axles are installed with a flange and press-on axle bearing, and the CNC-machined hubs are fitted with premium-grade studs for added strength.
