  • Gen 3 Small Block Ls1 Springs
    Installing the valvetrain is simple since the rocker shaft system does not require setting lash like on the old small-block. Just line up the roller rockers with their pushrods and torque it all in place.

    Dyno Bob also installed a new set of Comp Cams beehive LS1 springs when he changed the camshaft to ensure we wouldn't have any valve float problems. As it turned out, we spun this engine as high as 7,200 rpm at one point and the power curve was extremely stable.
