As you might expect, these Jeg's/Kaase heads are not exactly budget-based at a price of $1,640 for a complete set with hydraulic roller style valvesprings. You also must invest in a set of specific pushrods and also a set of Kaase-specific valve covers since the valvetrain will not clear a stock-type cover. The power may not come cheap, but it's there if you're willing to buy the ticket. This looks like the next great escalation in the horsepower wars.

Flow ChartThe following are flow numbers for the Jeg's/Kaase small-block Ford cylinder head. All tests were performed at Westech Performance on a SuperFlow 600 flow bench at 28 inches of test pressure simulating a 4-inch cylinder bore. The exhaust flow numbers are without a flow pipe.
