The most important point you can take away from this story is that as you improve handling and braking in your car, this new level of handling will place greater demands on the wet-sump lubrication system. In other words, if you're gonna go fast around those corners, you're going to have to pay attention to the oiling system sooner or later. Just don't ignore the problem too long. Broken engines are an expensive way to learn.
