The springs and dampers control the speed of the car’s pitch rotation, slowing down or speeding up the rise of the front end and movement of the rear. This front coilover conversion kit from MMS comes with a pair of 150-pound springs that are 14 inches high and 2.5 inches in diameter. Since this is a dedicated drag car, you want the front roll stiffness to be as low as possible. MMS recommended the softest springs and no sway bar in the front to equalize the load to the rear.
