Our first stop this weekend was Memory Lane (oldautoparts.com), a collector-car dismantler in Sun Valley, California. They always have complete cars for sale, and this '69 Plymouth Valiant had just been driven in and handed over the day we were there. We could barely stop ourselves from buying it for $1,250. It had 79,000-plus original miles! Don't bother calling. It's gone. The '65 Dodge is a convertible.

01. This Memory Lane jewel rivals a typical eBay car and price: a '72 Road Runner that's fairly beat for $4,000. Five years ago, we wouldn't have paid $1,500 for this car. Today, we gave it serious consideration.
