In addition to trans cooling, many severe-duty vehicles, such as police cars and trucks equipped with tow packages, are factory-equipped with engine oil coolers. In many cases, they make great transmission-fluid coolers and come in a variety of shapes and sizes. On our own project Barracuda, we mounted this engine-oil cooler to the backside of the radiator. An electric pusher fan mounted on the front of the radiator precluded mounting the cooler to the front. CC View Related Article
