The '78-and-up 460s are externally balanced and use a spacer behind the balancer with this funky external weight. Our early engine was internally balanced, so it was back to the salvage yard to find the correct early round spacer with no weight. Buying it new from Ford (PN D0OZ-6359-A) will set you back $46.28.
