Check out the competitors at the event to cast your vote. See the cars and meet the builders in person.
Big Oak Garage
The guys at Big Oak are bringing a ’57 Chevy Bel Air with an LS3 swap on a serious chassis, see it, hear it, and find out how they got it to sit right.
Muscle Car Restorations
John Balow and his crew of stellar builders at MCR are bringing a radical ’68 Charger with a 572-inch Hemi and twin Garrett turbos. Look for concourse quality workmanship as well.
Rad Rides by Troy
You know his name, and you’ve seen his Torino touring the nation. But have you seen his Buick? This ’56 has a beautiful 413-inch turbocharged Nailhead for power and more billet and polish than a Buick deserves to have.
OK, the Pantera wasn’t on top of our list of cars to own until we got a look at this ’71 stunner from Ring Brothers. Big brakes, big motor, and a lot of silky smooth fabrication and workmanship has made this thing worthy of our attention. And yours
Route 66 Motorsports
The guys at Route 66 went with a classic shoebox Nova with a 585hp LS swap and good wheels and suspension. The paint is Red, see it in the sunshine.
Jeff Schwartz has been to all the Summer Nats shows in the last five years and you can see him driving his cars on the show grounds, on the autocross, and everywhere in between. This year he is bringing a 750hp ’71 Camaro. You will hear it run.
Kevin and Kelly Oeste are putting together a ’69 Camaro with Volkswagen Mars Red paint but, instead of the standard LS3 swap, they went for the supercharged LSA from a new Cadillac. Make the show to see how they got it under the stock hood.
See these cars and about 6,000 others in-person and soak in the details of these over-built machines at the Car Craft Summer Nationals in St. Paul, Minnesota, July 18-20, 2014.
