The Roadster Shop is planning to bring a ’63 Fairlane to the 2013 CAR CRAFT Summer Nationals PRO BUILDER SHOOT-OUT. The Ford will have a 429 ci engine, topped with a Kaase Boss Nine stacked injection manifold. The power is controlled through a Tremec Magnum T-56 transmission, and transferred to a RS Fast Track IRS. Flushing out the fumes is a custom bent, RS stainless steel exhaust. The complete suspension is RS built in-house, with AFCO 550 front springs and double adjustable shocks; in the rear are AFCO 450 springs and double adjustable shocks. The front and rear are stabilized by RS 1.25-inch splined sway bars. Balancing the car at each corner are Custom Billet 18x8-inch wheels, wrapped in Yokohama Advan S4 P225/40/18 tires; hidden behind the rims are Wilwood 13-inch, 6 piston caliper brakes to do the stopping. The exterior is painted white, while the interior is fully trimmed by Custom Interiors. This should be one impressive Fairlane.
