Although one of the team's stratagems was to avoid body and paint work at all costs, they did make one concession by swapping the stock flat hood for one of Goodmark's steel cowl-induction pieces. Our experience with these has shown good fitment, and the added intake clearance was welcome with our taller manifold. And it looks cool. Johns Customz matched the paint beautifully.
