1972 Chevy Nova SS - A Bid for Victory - Building the eBay Editor's Challenge Nova
The previous owner had equipped the Nova with a decent 327 engine running rebuilt stock iron heads, a mild cam, and an aftermarket carb and intake. It ran, but seemed to have a persistent overheating problem. Rather than messing with an unknown on a tight schedule, the team decided to take the opportunity to obtain a fresh engine, and while they were at it, to go for more cubes. So a 383-inch stroker short-block was purchased on eBay Motors from Dyno-Flo Performance in Las Vegas.
