Here’s a tip from Gus Gonzalez that really paid off: When installing the fenders, add a protective layer or two of masking tape to the edges of the fender and door to prevent chipping the paint when you unavoidably smack them together. Reduce the tape’s adhesive qualities by sticking it to your pants a few times before putting it on the paint. View Related Article
