When using any 1.6:1 ratio rocker arm with Vortec heads, you must increase the length of the pushrod slot in the heads to prevent the pushrod from hitting the head. In this case, we drilled the pushrod holes from 5/16 to 3/8 inch, but this does require removing the heads from the engine. View Related Article
