Attached is a picture of one of the many burnouts done in a '77 Ranchero given to me for parting out. The windshield was sold a few days before, so we had to wear eye protection when driving. We decided to add some flavor to it one night, and put flames and scallops everywhere. We also painted "The Wurm" on its side in honor of the "Early Bird" swap meet we were headed to. The burnout would have been longer, but we had to get to the swap meet where we were going to be selling car parts! Interestingly, detonation is real easy to hear when there's no windshield in the way. -Jason Nelson, Puyallup, WA

The go-kart has a 5-horse engine and does 70-foot burnouts with a 9-horse nitrous shot. We ruined a new $60 Bridgestone slick and used 2 pounds of nitrous to get the shot.
