Hendricks Unstoppable!Last year, we claimed that Tim Hendricks out of Sterling, Illinois, and his ultra-trick '94 Trans Am had the potential to take home the 2004 Cheap Street championship; that was assuming he decided to stay in the class. And guess what? Hendricks returned-he's making some serious noise and proving us right with four wins in a row!

After earning his second consecutive win at the 3rd Annual Holley PRO Hot Rod & Muscle Car Nationals in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Hendricks tacked on another win during the Inaugural PRO Hot Rod Nationals at US 131 Raceway in Martin, Michigan. Granted he was the sole entry-however, it didn't stop Team Hendricks from putting on a wild show. In qualifying, Hendricks produced an awesome bumper-standing wheelie that caused some damage to the underbelly, requiring and an all-night thrash in order to make his final elimination pass on Sunday.

Two weeks later, Hendricks once again piloted the T/A at the 3rd Annual Holley PRO Hot Rod & Muscle Car Nationals at Cordova Dragway. This time it would be a three-way battle between himself, Jay Canella from Antioch, Illinois, and Danny Shemmel out of Elkton, Kentucky. Hendricks qualified number one with a 9.69, which was almost half a second ahead of Canella, with Shemmel taking the third spot with an 11.54 at 114 mph. In the end, Hendricks lined up next to newcomer Shemmel and earned his fourth win with an overpowering 9.74 at 137 mph to Shemmel's slower 11.22 at 115 mph pass.
