The idle-mixture screw controls the idle air/fuel mixture,but once the throttle is open, the idle fuel restrictor combined with anidle air bleed determine the off-idle air/fuel ratio until the throttleblades open enough to create fuel flow out of the boosters and the mainmetering circuit.
