How To Set Pinion Angle
Ray Currie graciously walked us through the measuring process on his brother Charlie’s ’70 Chevelle. Measurements are made relative to level ground. He started by placing a magnetic level on the engine-block pan rail to see if the engine and transmission were pointing up, down, or straight. Next, he secured an electronic level onto the driveshaft and measured that angle. The two angles are combined to derive the final angle. View Related Article
