Installing The GM Ramjet 350
To prevent fuel from backing up from the tank into the return line when the gas tank is full, we installed a Goodridge check valve at the end of the return line. The valve cracks open at about 2 psi, so it doesn’t introduce any restriction into the system. At a cost of about $80, it’s not cheap, but we felt it was important because we had to plumb the return line into a location on the tank where it will be below the fuel level when the tank is full. View Related Article
