Installing The GM Ramjet 350
The Ramjet is shipped with a flywheel that accepts an 11-inch clutch, exactly what we were already running on the 383 small-block we had in the car before the swap. However, it doesn’t come with a pilot bearing, so make sure you don’t forget that. We used a roller-style bearing, but a bronze bushing also works. If you’re running an automatic, you’ll need a flexplate that’s compatible with the ’86-and-later one-piece rear-main seal–style crankshaft. View Related Article
