    With the stock motor unbolted, pull the cowl panel for additional access. The wiper arms will have to be removed first; pry them gently from the splined shafts at the point opposite the wiper arm to overcome the spring tension. The cowl panel is fastened with several small hex-head screws along its leading edge.

    The new motor comes mounted to the billet adapter plate, and the unit is shipped with the pitman arm in the park position, so it's ready to bolt in place. The DSE kit includes stainless Allen-head bolts to mount the new motor using the factory threaded inserts in the firewall. The two lower mounting bolts thread in from the engine bay, just like the stock bolts...

    Once the new motor is in place, lube the new ball-stud with grease and install the wiper-arm linkage. Tighten the two nuts securing the linkage and wiggle the linkage to make sure that it still moves freely on the ball stud.
