Begin by removing the stock wiper motor. The wiper arms will have to be removed first; pry them gently from the splined shafts at the point opposite the wiper arm to overcome the spring tension. The DSE kit includes stainless Allen-head bolts to mount the new motor using the factory threaded inserts in the firewall. The two lower mounting bolts thread in from the engine bay, just like the stock bolts...The new motor comes mounted to the billet adapter plate, and the unit is shipped with the ...but the upper bolt must be inserted through the cowl into the aluminum adapter plate. Once the new motor is in place, lube the new ball-stud with grease and install the wiper-arm linkage.
