1969 AMC Javelin SST - Breaking Down On The Road Can Be Good
 We spotted Tom's Javelin early...  We spotted Tom's Javelin early Saturday morning and liked it immediately. It had the right stance, big tires, and Torq-Thrusts, and it was probably the only AMC at the show. When we asked Tom if he was available for a photo shoot, he seemed reluctant, citing his bad bearing. "I'll have to spend a few hours fixing it," he said. "Can we take pictures? It would be cool for the story." A few hours later we were at Year One's shop pulling his left axle. |  |  While at Year One, we got...  While at Year One, we got to snoop around its shop. This was the 30-year anniversary of the release of Smokey and the Bandit, and Year One worked with Burt Reynolds to design a modernized version of the Bandit car, a limited number of which will be built by Year One.
