Loved the E85 article in the Feb. '07 issue. One hundred and six octane and a chance to stick it to OPEC; what's not to love! Keep it up, I may subscribe. -Jeff K. Savage, MN

About five blocks north of the MGM [hotel in Las Vegas] my second rear airbag failure of the weekend had stranded us right past the Treasure Island casino. I had to call the 24-hour Auto Zone and have Mike go pick up a pair of air shocks to get the car up off of the tires. I had the wife and kids out on the curb for 2 1/2 hours while we scavenged parts and put them in place. Talk about a bunch of weird people walking around that town!

Please continue with Jeff Smith's "Cheap Street Olds." There is so much potential there for cheap! It has to run even better with a little tuning. I caught a glimpse of Glad's Rambler with big 'n' littles on the lift in the "Behind the Scenes" and it looks soooo bitchin' I can't wait to see what happens next. And make sure that this gets forwarded to John McGann. I think his Caprice could be super sweet! Just don't kill all the chrome and stay with modest-size wheels and you can't go wrong. Remember, the car is worthless so don't spend too much money, so you aren't afraid to drive the wheels off it. I'm living vicariously through you guys. I have boring late-models like my six-speed '97 Z28 with boring bolt-ons, and my wife's 2000 five-speed Mustang GT.-Andy Husted, Elmira, NY
