Stock Eliminator Wagon

Who: A reader just sent us a snapshot of this AMC
What: A Matador wagon running in Stock Eliminator
Why: Why not? Dig the cool luggage rack and hurkin' slicks. If you've seen this car, give us a shout, we want to hear about it.

More Wagons!

Who: John Culbert
Where: London, Ontario, Canada
What: '94 Buick Roadmaster wagon
Why: John picked up the Buick in New York State and drove it back to Ontario. It had 90,000 miles on it, and it sees action at St. Thomas Dragway where it ran 15.80 all day with a stock 2.56 gear and a girthy 4,500-pound weigh in.
He Says: I dialed it in at 16.10 and ran 15.80s. I don't understand bracket racing.

It Lives

Who: Ron Johnson
Where: La Harpe, IL
What: '69 Dodge Dart F/Stock
Why: In 1969, Cragar and Dodge got together with Car Craft magazine to build an F/Stock drag car to give away at the Winternationals. It made it all the way to the finals before being given away in the Cragar contest. Ron spotted it parked near his home and snapped some photos for us. He doesn't know who the current owner is.

Missing The Iroc

Who: John King
Where: Winchester, VA
What: '90 Chevrolet IROC Camaro
Why: What used to be $16,000 supercars are now $2,000-$5,000, so John went out and picked up the IROC with the Tuned Port, 230hp LB9 with the G92 performance package, five-speed trans, N10 code dual exhaust, and DX3 code decal and stripe delete.
He Says: I live for monthly updates on your project L98 Firebird Formula. Brings back the late great '80s memories of the EFI 5.0 Mustangs, TPI IROC Camaros, and Formula 350 street battles.

Who: John Hartman
Where: Temecula, CA
What: '67 Rally Sport convertible
Why: Just look at this thing! This car has the original matching-numbers engine and a 700-R4 so he can cruise around. The original transmission is stored in his garage. He rebuilt the original 327 and heads and added a few aftermarket speed parts to make it reliable. He calls the paint 20 footer, but he drives it every weekend.

Who: Michael Walter
Where: Didn't say exactly
What: '64 Ford Galaxie 500XL
Why: He said he had been jonesing for a '64 since he was 16. Now at 54, he has this one
