People always ask about the project cars that have either fallen out of the magazine or that don't have editorial installments in the current issue, so here's our new department where you can come for updates on CC cars and engines and general staff hilarity. You've got Readers' Pages up front-think of this as Writers' Pages. You may know that Hot Rod ripped off our Cheap Street Chevelle, made it ugly, and gave it away. So that's history. Some have asked about our '65 Pontiac with the EFI 455, and that, too, disappeared when its owner, staffer Tony Nausieda, hit the road to pursue an actual paying career. Likewise, Henry D's '78 Malibu with the LT1 swap has also left the fleet. Matt King's SuperNova still lives in town and could be the subject of staff beatings, and his thrasher '65 Biscayne has a life sentence in paint jail. Meanwhile, we do have other projects, and contrary to popular belief, they're not all Chevelles, though we are sometimes appalled at the volume of Camaros. Enjoyed this Post?
