One of the first planned changes was to swap in a big-block. Mike builtthe '69 455 to nearly replicate the Car Craft Olds 455 from the Oct. '00issue, which made 470 hp and 565 lb-ft of torque. Olds maven JoeMondello prepped the 850-cfm Q-Jet that resides atop the EdelbrockTorker intake, while legendary tube-wrangler Doug Thorley used the carto prototype his new Cutlass headers.
