The Gen VI 502 short-block was sourced from GMPP. It was collecting dustin a corner of Ron's garage when he decided that his '65 deserved abig-inch Rat motor. Ron freshened it up with new rings and a newhydraulic-roller cam, and slapped on a set of GMPP aluminum oval-portheads, a GM dual-plane intake, and an 850 Holley.
