Chevy 502Ci Gen Vi Engine
The Gen VI 502 short-block was sourced from GMPP. It was collecting dustin a corner of Ron's garage when he decided that his '65 deserved abig-inch Rat motor. Ron freshened it up with new rings and a newhydraulic-roller cam, and slapped on a set of GMPP aluminum oval-portheads, a GM dual-plane intake, and an 850 Holley. The torque output is"more than adequate."

Interior
The all-original interior is impeccable. A radio-delete car from thefactory, Ron made sure to hide the modern tunes. The underdash panel forthe A/C controls, manual cooling fan override switch, and oil pressureand temperature gauges was fabricated by the owner. Ron made the shifterby grafting an original Muncie bench-seat lever with a reversed Mustanglower section and hid the splice with a boot procured from a mid-'80sToyota Tercel.
