The 454 was bored 0.030-over and is now a 461ci powerhouse featuring forged TRW 9.5:1 pistons, moly rings, Clevite 77 bearings, and all ARP fasteners. Topping off the motor is a set of stock Chevy 049-casting heads outfitted with 2.12/1.65 valves. Fumes expel by way of Hooker Super Comp headers with 2-1/8-inch primaries and 3-1/2-inch collectors. For bodacious harmonies, a set of two-chamber Flowmaster mufflers rest between 3-inch piping.
