With the recent unveiling of the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang brings the excitement to drive one. Well, now the world can do just that; get a first chance behind the (virtual) wheel in an all-new Need for Speed (NFS) game. Ford has teamed with EA games to bring a free in-game download of the new generation of Mustang to gamers worldwide.
“Need for Speed Rivals” (NFS) is a popular new series of racing video games for all ages. Coming from a long line of previous, successful arcade-style racing games, “Rivals” continues the NFS legacy. With stunning graphics, fluid controls, and online game play, any enthusiast racing gamer is sure to be pleased.
Just in time for the holiday season, five fan-customized designs of the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang will be available to race. Four of the designs are the highest-voted designs created on the popular Mustang Customizer app, featured on the Ford.com website. The fifth design is a 2015 Ford Mustang RTR designed by drift champion Vaughn Gittin Jr.
Players of the new NFS video game “Rivals” will get the chance to take the 2015 Ford Mustang on a virtual drive before the car hits the showrooms worldwide next year. The real 2015 Ford Mustang features innovative technologies, high performance, and a stylized exterior and interior.
The in-game action features players as either a cop or racer. Gaining the upper hand by any means necessary is the “name of the game.” Playing NFS’ classic story – being on either side of the law - creates a dynamic, unmatched story in any other racing franchise. With two different career experiences, the game lasts longer than previous versions. High-stakes challenges, rewards, pursuit technology, and a variety of cars make the game as successful as its predecessors.
Mustang has had a playable car in the NFS video game franchise since 2005. According to Ford, it’s the world’s most-liked vehicle on Facebook, with more than 5.6 million fans. What better game to test drive the 2015 Mustang than in the all-new NFS game. “Rivals” has a Gold Award and 9/10 rating from Game Informer Magazine; an 8.5/10 from AusGamers; and a 9/10 from Eurogamer.net.
Snag your copy of “Need for Speed Rivals” on all next-gen platforms: PlayStation 3, PlayStation4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC (via Origin worldwide).
