1972 Plymouth Duster at SEMA 2013

We take a closer look at a very cool Mopar during the SEMA show

We’re in Las Vegas, Nevada, this week for the 2013 SEMA convention, and with this yearly visit comes lots of cool cars. As we walked the convention center, we spotted this really slick 1972 Plymouth Duster hiding in a booth. We don’t see too many late-60s, early 70s Mopars at SEMA, so we had to take a better look.

This two-tone Duster is rockin’ a Gen III 426ci HEMI under its hood (sadly, we didn’t get a peek). The big-block is cooled by a Bouchillon Performance radiator. A 6-speed, TCI automatic transmission controlled by a Mastershift in-dash shifter, handles all the shifting duties. Pumping out the exhaust are TTI headers and tubes. Dr. Gas Boom tube-tips complete the exhaust. The car is rolling on a Reilly Motorsports suspension, with American Racing wheels at all four corners.

The inside of 1972 Plymouth Duster includes a set of Dakota digital gauges, a RetroSound audio system, and an ISIS Multiplex Wiring setup. This is certainly one of the nicest Mopars we’ve seen at the 2013 SEMA auto convention this year.

My Parents had a '72 Gold Duster (Super Six) and a '76 Duster (regular Slant 6). They won the '76 with 2000 dollars cash in the Ct. Lottery...I really wanted that red one...
