1965 Ford Falcon - 3rd Annual Road Trip
Car Craft Magazine Enjoys Another Successful Road Trip

Rear-ending somebody in his '65 Falcon during last year's Car Craft road trip left such a bad taste in the editor's mouth that the directive was handed to the editorial staff to make the Third Annual "Tour" short, fun, and painless (extra emphasis on painless). With those instructions, we found a car show close to Los Angeles, yet far enough away to make it a good cruise.
On August 23, we met with about 40 crazy Car Craft readers at Los Angeles County Raceway (LACR) to kick off the Third Annual Anti-oops, Car Craft Road Trip. We spent a few hours at LACR bashing on our rides before leading the whole procession up the coast to lovely San Luis Obispo (SLO), where we rode the weekend out at the Wheels of SLO car show. If you missed it this year, don't make the same mistake next year. We're still recovering, but we can't wait to do it again.
As usual, if we decide to go on another road trip next year, you'll get scant details and short notice. But we promise it will be a memorable trip.
