The ’10 show featured a variety of vintage machinery, including this supercharged ’63 Studebaker Avanti. Stude was on its last legs when it hatched the fiberglass-bodied five-passenger Avanti and hoped its bold styling would attract media and customer attention to its more mundane models. We’re digging the 7.75-15 BF Goodrich bias-ply skins and poor-boy-fake five-spoke mag-wheel covers. The round headlamps of ’63 (seen here) were made square for 1964 when the last 809 Avantis were built.
